Roy Dotrice makes this a very dull listen, which is unfortunate because its a great story. I am working my way through the audible editions of each volume and am sure I will revisit them more than once. R. The Game of Thrones Audiobook lasts for 800 pages or 33 hours. Audible has longer previews for those who need more of a sample.There are few audiobooks I listen to repeatedly and this series is on the top of that list. Martin Sylvia Day E.L. Any additional comments? This would be a 5-star review, except that Audible has divided the book into 2 parts so that you have to use two tokens to finish the book. Martin's masterwork - the most inventive and entertaining fantasy saga of our time - warrants one hell of an introduction.
HBOs hit series A Game of Thrones is based on George R. George R.R Martin is a genius storyteller, especially when it comes to mystery books. Maggie Rickards So good, really loved it. It is on iTunes and works out as cheaper there! Wish I'd noticed that earlier. Especially because audio doesn't really allow you to go back and pick up a detail you might have missed. These 3 stories include the emerging threat of a magical, mysterious race, the war of many feuding families and the uprising of a princess.
